As part of an Green Community, School and Garden Outreach Project, in which Helping Ninjas were awarded a Micro Green Teen Grant Award to help fund the project. Helping Ninjas their CWE Cafe and Cafe Garden manager and Green Team Representative presented to students at a neighboring and local elementary school helping to educate and teach them about renewable energy, natural pesticides, fertilizers, and composting.
Helping Ninjas demonstrated how to compost at home with the elementary green team students and they got to experience composting first-hand by composting in jars. Helping Ninjas donated the supplies for the project as well as the mason jars for students to take home. These students over the summer will be conducting an experiment by composting in jars.
