Helping Ninjas is helping with a list off local not for profit agencies that can  Re-Use Your  Items. 

Horizon House provides across-the-board services – on site and on the street – to help all people who are homeless build more stable, secure lives. They are in need of the following gently used items:

  • Gently used towels & washcloths
  • Men’s jeans, khaki & black pants
  • Men’s sweatpants sizes M-XXL

Cool Creek Nature Center       Westfield, IN

  • Halloween Costumes. Each year the Nature does a Halloween Costume Exchange. Community members are allowed to come and recycle costumes.
    They accept donations all year round.

  • Antiques and collectibles
  • Hardware and tools
  • Curtains, drapery, blinds, linen, bedspreads and blankets
  • Strollers, high chairs, pack-and-plays
  • Books, school textbooks, records, compact discs, videotapes and DVDs
  • Games, bikes, sporting equipment and toys
  • Playground equipment
  • Video game consoles and accessories, video equipment and recording devices (VHS, DVD, etc.)
  • Printers, electronics and other computer accessories (mice, keyboards, monitors, power cords and adapters, scanners, MP3 players, cell phones, etc.)

    • Goodwill is a partnered with Dell on the Dell Reconnect program, which ensures that donated computers are safely and securely recycled.
    • This ensures that hazardous substances, like mercury, don’t end up in landfills, and helps keep donors’ safe.
    • Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana does not sell donated computers in our stores. All computers are recycled through Dell Reconnect.
